My formal education began with attending Hebrew Academy, a private school in Miami, Florida where I graduated in 1990. I joined the work force immediately after the Academy. The advantage of attending the Academy was the focus of real-world experiences and learning combined with the laws, statutes, judgments, and commandments we find in the Bible. The integration of these teachings lay the foundation for critical thinking. I learned that the basics such as knowledge, understanding, and wisdom form a whole person.
Over time my approach and pursuit of knowledge is composed of elements drawn from various sources designed to increase my performance in not just my work life but also to build my character values.
I obtained certification as a Pharmacy Technician, licensed in the State of California from 2011 through 2017.
In 2015, after studying for my certificate in Medication Therapy Management, I developed an interest in logistics. During this time, an advisor from the University of San Francisco suggested that I enroll in their Supply Chain courses. Through completion of those courses, I obtained certificates in Supply Chain Management.
The result of learning through a broad and diverse range of sources has provided me opportunities for supervisory roles to include communicating organizational needs, overseeing employees' performances, providing guidance, support, identifying development needs, and managing the relationship between staff and the organization so that each are successful.
Critical thinking has been important to my approach to parenting, education, work, professional development, and is the basis for my approach to problem solving.
I am a certified Green Belt in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. With my early exposure to architecture, value stream and process maps come at ease. I possess a sharp eye for detail, which I use to find even the smallest errors in text. I work well under pressure and can produce high-quality work in short periods of time. I have strong interpersonal skills and work with a wide variety of people.
One of my primary goals is the opportunity to work with a team that runs on clear communication. I want to align myself with a company in whose values I share and where I can create positive change. I am always looking to learn more and am open to taking on challenging projects.
I plan to consult and mentor others based on the trials I have experienced to attain success and to highlight how emotional intelligence is a critical set of soft skills necessary to achieve one’s goals.
